Source code

"Source code" is a fantasy movie that strains a kind of fancy that during the last years has become quite trendy in this genre. As a matter of fact the power of cinema to modify the events of the past, using such a variety of Technological tricks as the source code of this movie, seems to have a very cathartic role on the spectator.

This effect is empowered if you watch the movie at the cinema, in a place in which the transference experience is boosted. "Source code" obsessively persists in this dynamic, presenting again the same situation acted by the parts in different ways, until the end of the movie. It could simply be said that the need to control is arisen through the Us people after the 11th of September, but probably the universal communicative power of this movie is expecially linked to the men's need to dream that their faults can be repaired. From this perspetive cinema becomes the only place in which you can redeem yourself from your own little failed targets and from the small and big "distructions" you feel responsible for.

Apart from the psychological interpretation of the movie, it's scenes are redundant and sometimes boring. Obviousely the final release from the railway accident scene has a hard symbolic value and well represents what happens in the human mind when the change is accepted.
